When looking at the game guide using both Netscape 6.2,Mozilla 1.7 and FireFox 0.9 i get "request...not found" if i look at the battle guide. Changing the href eg from /guide\battle\b_top.html to /guide/battle/b_top.html gets the required page nicely
Just thought id actually report this as there's no game ongoing at the mo....

Try to clear cache - possible problem here, I just tested with Mozilla 1.6.
BTHW - what not worked ? Galaxy guide or Battle ?

There are broken links to images, too. Found some broken links in every race guide ( such as /guide/fagur/..\img\spori.png or /guide/krong/..\img\u132.png ) and there are broken links inside this forum too, eg. /img/flags\md.png.

Changed all - should work now
http://www.dqempires.com/guide.zip was updated too.

The guide works now ! But all links to flags inside this forum ( such as /img/flags\md.png or /img/flags\de.png ) are still broken.

Hmm, yes, really mistake - must be compatibility.
About other - do You want to start holywar "which browser is better" ? 
P.S. BTHW, all DQ:Empires JS code was debugged under ... netscape 1.7
