How can i see elapsed turns and total resources to be spent?

Im not sure about how to see turns count, except if you go to the select galaxy menu by clicking the right most button at the top...resources is on the planets page, how much made and consumed. Any extra gets sold for money, but that dont seem to work...

I also figured out that my research is now active, but can i see how much time is left?

It takes so many points, and time depends on how many you are making. All the basic techs seem to be 50 points.

Divide this by your total research production for time

Ok that seems to make sense. Im used to you gathering and stockpiling resources things like in DQ:E, but i guess it different.

Ok so it should take 50 turns, but right now only 10 to speed things up.

You can queue them also, so when one finishes it will go onto the next.
Actually it is not a research queue. It is a list what technologies you've started, but didn't finished yet. Sometimes you'll need a tech before already started one so you'll change it. The new research will start from the beginning, the old one will be placed on hold with researched points spent. When proceeding any on hold research it will continue from the point it was stopped.

PS Turn number & turn counter will be added soon.

Oh, ok. But you can use is as a queue cant you? Because if something finishes while your not playing, then having several things in the list it will start/continue the next?

Ok now i have 3 million people and i have a 3rd little guy.

So far stages of research are:

Gathering Knowlegde base
Prototyping

So far it seems pretty good, takes a while for this to happen though.

Oh and how long is a tick?

The income isnt working right, I still only have 1 income, and not making more each turn, even though I had 3 specialists on food for a while untill I changed it. I have 4 people now, 2 on science and 2 on food. I should be making 1 income each turn...

No, it seems it wont continue with the next. Could that be added? It would make it easier for players that dont check back too often.

Oh, I see how income works now. The number shows how much your making that turn, not how much I have in total. How can I see how much I have in total?

It will round up to 13 turns then, as some points will still be needed. I guess the extras are wasted...

I have 3 completed, and the 4th almost finished Next I research colonisation ships and get out into space

Anyway, how do you explore? I cant see any science that lates you build satalites.

I also have 5 scientists and 3 farmers.

Anyway, I want to start exploring because the plantes in the home system are not very good, except my home planet as its terrestrial, but none of the others are really, one is radiated, another tundra and the last is ocean, so none of those sound too good to me

EDIT:

Ok, it seems I also need fusion drive for the colonisation ship, so I have 2 more things to research first, so am doing that now.

Do you need Research Satellite Network to explore? This seems lik it might be what I need. Also, what do the squares with red and green diamond shapes in the corners mean? I think its what I need to have before researching this, like a secondary prerequisite, but some that I have are marked red, other I dont have green, so what do the colors mean?

I hope you researched the 3-4 COLONIZATION items too

Gotta research them all to colonize different planets you silly K, you.

Im taking a different approach and researching other things, mostly to improve the one planet i have...

Colonization comes after i have the one planet i have now improved.

Well...their is no terrestrial colonisation thing, but I may need the X colonisation one...not sure. I have researched the colonisation ships, but cant build them yet. They are in the ship builder screen, but it says I need engines for them, so have to reserch that now.

It seems colonisation is meant to be late into the game, not something you do quite early...

I dont think anything will build yet either way.

BTW I have 6 farmers and 10 scientists now, I can research most things in a few turns

I decided that I would only have 10 scientists, because the extra 2 dont make a difference really, and will just get wasted. I am making some money from the food and hopefully its being saved. I should have like 300 money by now

EDIT: Ok, I do have engines, just didnt see them. I dont have space for them now though, so I am trying to work out what I need to do to add this...

Hi.

I see you are progressing much faster then things are ready

1. Colonization is not ready yet.
2. To explore you will need a ship traveling to that system. Then system is considered as explored. I, myself, I'm researching corvette class ship for exploration. From another side construction is not ready yet (working on it now).
3. Commanding your ships is possible from star map only (at least until fleets screen will be ready)

Until constructing ships is ready you could develop your main planet and see how things are balanced and what should be fixed.

Regards

The small icons and red/green dots are technologies this specific research depend on. The red dot meas it is not researched yet, the green dot means it is ready. It was a small bug showing right colours. Now it should be ok.

Oh, ok. I am reserching satalite network because I thought I needed that . I will finish that then go onto corvette ships, I can research them now.

Ok, Thanks. I can move around the map by hovering the mouse over the star, then using the scroll wheel on the mouse, its the only way I have found to move around the galaxy.
