I think if DQ:H gets its own forums like DQ:E does in game, ill do a roundly RoE (Rules of Engagement) post.

For the current testing period, the RoE are as follows:

1. No attacking planets (except to test bombardments and such in a designated area)
2. No fleet combat until the battle system is balanced (except to test in designated areas)
3. Fleet movements between enemy empires allowed so long as they do not engage the enemy.

Thankyou and enjoy the testing

"All is fair in love and war...and THIS IS WAR!!!!!!!!!"

Their is only one rule that matters, destroy your enemy before they destroy you...

BTW, I started FOG, but it may be better for an old Great Galactic Guardian vs BRO or GF or something .

Anyway, I think all out war is best, because if we limit it we may not see the problems of a serious battle...although we can agree when it should start.

BTW, about tactics. If your building lots of fleets I guess your going for offence? My tactics obviously are defence, I will also do my fair share of attacks, but I am mostly concerned with getting my planets fully defended and equiped, so ships are my last thing to build.

Right now I am going throough all military buildings, building them and terraforming where possible. Any planets not yet built also need to be started.

I hope by the end of sunday to have 100 planets. Have at least all production buildings on each. And to have terrafromed as many planets as possible.

Then any planets that reach alpha gaea, are fully built will be put onto ship building and research.

Well now youre just being selfish.

We need to test the battle system for Maverick so its balanced and we figure out which ranges and things do what best for which weapons.

Thats what we should be doing, not just going nuts and killing each other. We should pick a system like we did last time to fight in and test things out.

Besides, i see all of your alpha gaea planets, do you really want to see them leveled?

Well...the best way to test it is by playing realisticaly. If its impossible to destroy your enemy with tons of ships, or far too easy, then things need to be balanced more. Just holding back isnt how most players will play, so to really see how it works we want chaos. To see what its capable of and stuff.

No...and they wont be . They already have about every defence building, and of course will have fleets eventualy. They are also quite close, so I can have a few big fleets patroling the area. And anyway, the amount of ships you can have is directly effected by the amount of incme you make, so far I have huge amounts, with 100 planets like that I will have no problems building several huge fleets.
