This was something that many people wanted in DQ:E. I think its really good you can name your ship types, but could we also have planet and star names? Where the owner can name and rename the planets, and the first to explore the star can name it?
Also, could you have the option to group ships into fleets, and name the fleet?
I would number my fleets 1 - 10 (these being the main fleets of my armada) and have a special class for the flagship of each. Basicaly each fleet would have a unique ship as its flag ship, and this would be better than the rest, and the ship type would be its name.
The planets and stars seem to already have a name, so maybe this could just be changed by players?
For stars, when you have explored a star you should be able to name it any time after that, but it can only be named once. So if the first person to explore it does not name it, the second person to explore it can name in instead, but once it has been named players cant change the name after that.
Planets will be named by whoever owns them, and the name can be changed. This is useful if its invaded ad the invader wants a different name for it.

A lot of features will be implemented in future. Currently we are testing the core of the game. Almost all names would be possible to change, you'll be able to make notes for each planet/colony etc.

That would be good, will others be able to see your names/notes etc? You could write a description or history for the planets in the notes section

Names, yes. Everyone will see them. Note, no. My idea for notes it's more as TO DO list, instead of writing your plans on paper all the time

Oh, I see. In DQ:E I used to send myself private messages with any notes I needed to remember
