It is possible to implement a Zoom In/Out system in the Empire Map view?
Actually we have only 2 situations: empire map with all stars or Home Sector/Hypernode with 3 sectors. I think that would be a good idea if I can see 6,12 or 24 sectors in a view.

| The idea is good but it's hard to implement it. Actualy we plan some shanges for map usability. These changes will greatly simplify it's functionality.

Other suggestion:
When the mouse is over the empire map, in the status bar of the browser I can see the information about the hyperlink to the Home Sector/Hypernode, like this:
http://www.dqempires.com/cgi-bin/sector?ID=0D...2&xy=?497,588
The "xy=?497,588" is the position over the picture.
I'm making these counts to get these "&xy?" coordinates to "localize" a point in the empire map picture (I see the status bar of the browse)
Sector TO xy=?: divide sector position by 5
Quadrant TO xy=?: multiply quadrant position by 0.625 (divide by 8, multiply by 5)
xy?= TO Sector: multiple xy by 5
xy?= TO quadrant: multiple xy by 1.6 (divide by 5, multiply by
. Can you put the xy=? information in the Home Sector/Hypernode page?
. Can you put the information of the coordinates of the sector and quadrant in the mouse's arrow (or other place in the empire map page) when the mouse is over the picture of the empire map? (It's like in some web sites tha have a banner that show fallen stars when the mouse is over this banner or letters/words that follow the mouse's arrow movement)

When working with galaxy/empire/alliance map you will have info on real x,y coords and sector coords. It might be shown in status bar or near your cursor.
In sector map you'll be able to switch directly to galaxy/empire/alliance map, more than that there will be a marker on it denotig what sector you've just looked at.
Some additional changes will be implemented, also.
PS: Changes on maps, might be implemented befor or during beta 3.
