Could it be possible to have like flags by planets so players can mark them?

I mean like small sysmbols that can be set for each planet, and the player can use these for any reason they want. For remembering things etc. Maybe have like a dropdown box when the symbol area is clicked, and a few different symbols that can be set for the planet.

Also, their should be a few columns of symbols.

First could be as I said above, to mark the planet. Second could be like an explosion symbol that makrs any planet that has been attacked. The player can clear this when they want.

Thisrd could be an ! symbol, this marks any planet that needs attention, like starvation, high polution, or anything like this.

Forth could be a symbol for capital system, this will be by any planet in your capital system.

So you have 3 small colums of symbols (or blank spaces if none is set) to the left of your planet on the planet list. Also these can be shown on the planets page and other places.

It would make things much eaiser. I find that remembering what I am doing is hard, and this would make things easier.

To help you a little bit with that you have "Colony notebook" on planet screen.

Yeah, I know thats for like a detailed description. But I mean as just a marker more than anything. So you can look down your list and see exactly what is what, in no time at all. Not have to keep opening the notebook and see.

Basicaly, If I am ordering certain things on every planet, but dont want to go through all my planets at once, I can mark where I left off, and when I return can continue from that point.

Also, you could have the option to order planets by their flags, so its easy to find what you are looking for.

Also I can mark my planets by region, or for particular things, like if I am building a fleet at them etc. The notebook is useful also, but more for recording plans and things, where the flags let you identify planets from just loking at them.

Ok, just to change this a bit. Instead of separate columns for the sysmbol for food shortage, maybe have like an overlay this goes over the planet icon on the colony screen. This could be like a food (wheat) symbol for food shortage, maybe an explosion symbol for a planet that has been attacked, and also, for the planet marking. Maybe use that glowing effect used in the buttons at the top, mabe have a selection of colours the player can choose, like red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white. That should be enough I guess. And this will display on the colony screen behind the planet icon so it glows.

I think that would look really cool.
