I may not understand some of your "jargon", but calling someone pedo... its not acceptable in our opinion, even if you are joking. Some player will consider it offending even in a joking forme.

I agree 100% that it was childish, but I also wonder.. where there other ulterior motives involved? Listen to my logic and tell me where I'm wrong.. the punishment too was very harsh.. considering where I was and what I was doing / could do.
Sure, the Game Rules are there on the login screen, but do you really expect people to go there and read them? I didn't notice that it was there until after I got booted and searched for the game rule that I had supposedly violated (which is no longer a supposition because I found out AFTR I violated it that it was a game rule NOT to offend others, etc). It would help if you had a link to the Game rules on the Homepage, instead of other links that don't even work, such as the News and the FAQs.
Sure I should've been booted, but why not others? *Note to admin: I'm not calling for other people to be booted.. I'm making a statement, pointing out a fact* ~~ I was the strongest Fagur empire in the strongest alliance (and at THAT time, the strongest empire IN that alliance).. and I got booted as a result of what? - The complaint of an enemy of my alliance. This seems rather weird eh?
Thirdly, it would've been more fair if you had given ALL of us a warning instead of booting me and warning the others (this is what made me suspicion what I said above). There was atleast one other person who said the same thing as me, but that person who was at that time not very strong, got ONLY a warning. I, who WAS strong at that time, however, get booted.
Fourthly, it's a game guys, and not only that, it's an online game. I understand the reason for the rules, and I respect them (I didn't in this case as I didn't KNOW about them), but this is going overboard with it. Do you really expect people to obey rules on an online game?? and one that's not even known very well??.. If I was sincerely wanting to break game rules, I would be able to do so and rather easily.. and sure you could block me (i think?) but how much more could you do?.. I was at a point in the game where I could lay back and relax with the confidence that no one would be able to attack me and live easily, and then the next day I find out that I have to start all over again?... gee thanks.. I really thought of DQ as a great game as it didn't require too much micromanagement, and was a small enough gaming community that I would be able to know a majority of the people.... but this experience has sure put a sourness in my mouth..

Right and Wrong is a matter of opinion, not fact. You called the forum Politics. In politics these 'mud-slingings' happen...
To prove that right and wrong are a matter of opinion, consider the case of lying vs kidding. Most people view lying as wrong and kidding as okay. When you come down to it, they both mean the same thing, and I think both of them are wrong.

i am with you, the booting of the largest fagur player in this game went too far, whilst the game is excelent its not the script that needs heavy modifying...its the management, im sorry to offend yas but not even warning him b4 u booted him is just STUPID! and for what, if Vlad took it seriously he could have sed sumthing could he not?

u can't come and say oops, i brake a rule, but i didn't knew it, so its not that bad ... u should have read them before, plus, i know NO single online game in which that kind of language is allowed and i played quite some dozen ... so don't blame others for being childish, in this childish manner ... just take it and learn ... and btw ... this is their world .. they DEFINETLY decide whats right and wrong in here !!!

I'm not sure what the first part of the post means..
But about the rest :-
I'm sorry for coming and saying oops.. I only felt extremely frustrated and irritated about what happened. I realize now that I should've bottled it up and kept it inside me, instead of expressing what I felt was rather wrong (in hope that in future it wouldn't happen again).
I'm sorry I didn't read the rules.. I'm not perfect like other people..

Let me put my 2 cents - now I talk as "human, just human" - not as admin, ok ?
From my point of view:
If player violated any rule (no matter did he/she read it or not), he/she must be punished, because no punishment - no rules, no rules - anarchy. If player ignore punishment (i.e repeat rules violation) he/she can be banned forever. And no matter if he/she is the biggest player in the game or similar - the rules are rules for all, even us.
Now, this case:
One player started flame - no matter what was the cause. Until flame posts was in rules limits - no actions was performed - because this IS THE GAME, only GAME and nothing more - and player`s conflicts is normal.
One of players passed limits - I do not want to say, that word "pedophil" is vulgar, this is medical term, but in _THIS_ context it was outrage. Player was punished, but not banned. So, I think, that incident is exhausted. Point.
