Actualy, there is a typo in guide. Strategic means what we have now - tactical map.

If I were to capture Guardian planets and then go on vacation so that other players couldn't attack me, would the time spent in "vacation" be counted toward the time needed to hold the Guardian planet to win?... I think this is highly unethical  .. and am probably not going to do it, but just wondering if it was possible..
**Shoutouts to Jupiter for deciding not to do that in Virgo -- think it was Serj or Dmitry or someone...

Yes, this time will be counted, but I think we will fix it, because this is incorrect from the players point of view.
P.S. Jupiter was Dmitry - he told about this directly

Here's some suggestions about that:
1) You give us a range of values that could be used for vacation time - like the ability to go on vacation for 200 turns OR to go on vacation for 300 turns OR to go on vacation for 400 turns, etc BUT
2) You make it possible that those with Guardian Planets aren't allowed to take vacation (extreme).. OR you make it so that their vacation cannot be more than 100-150(?) turns, and that if they have held a Guardian for more than 100 turns they CAN NOT take vacation, and they cannot take vacations one after another..
er.. that's all my mind can think of at 7 in the morning .. I think the first suggestion would be a great if you could do it. Some of us are away for more than the time we're allowed to take vacation (like in Christmas break I went to Philly)... and it hurts when we come out of vacation but aren't home yet .. and don't have ability to go back on vacation.

Could you also make it so that it isn't possible to collapse Guardian stars? After expending so much time and energy (not to mention nights when I woke up at 3:20 am to have maximum efficiency).. to find out that I'm going to lose because the other !@!@!@!@ decided to blow up the star... takes a lot out of the gaming experience.. SO hard to win.. SO easy to lose..

Kobra is right, we (the I.C.P and ecspecialy Kobra) put a lot of time and effort into the Virgo round only to have a Guardian collapsed.
Also, why just make it that if the holder of a guardian goes on vacation there acct is frozen but the guardians can be lost?

Or You can wait a bit when we will open next galaxy.
