I'm not playing krong this round in the TG, but CEC is 4 times better millitary defense unit than a u3 with less metal unkeep. Metal is always problem for krong, i hope energy will not. I think it is waste to put M-nodes on stationary defense, I mean real stationary, you put them and forget it for long times, because CEC need more time deploy (can't accellerate). And because M-nodes can't accellerate from/into a system it needs at least 3 real-time turn (30 minutes) to intercept an enemy fleet. And you have to log in all the time, while the other races just send away their fleet on attack mission and will check the result hours later.

We will see the result of the tuning.

They only need 2 if the nodes don't start in a system.

The acceleration limit of 100 limits the Krong's ability to move around quickly. In The Eye last game that frequently frustrated me. I had more than enough energy to make a jump in 1 turn, but it would take longer (sometimes 5 turns) because of the acceleration limit.

you could just make it so that that cec have do no damage when in orbit but still make reasonable amounts of energy (like it was before)
it wouldnt bother me after all a good econmy leads to a good offence

that's only cause i owned half of planets
and max u1 production was only 2.3M - i had to protect my planets (though it was waste of planets surface)

the only thing that prevents krong from owning the whole galaxy - lack of metal and admins

With the recent changes to the Krong, is the production of energy by landed CEC units affected, or was just the energy from idle CEC units orbiting a star changed?

The best war stragety agianst fagur is to get in an alliance. As fagur can beat a krong player anyday

completely disagree

it depends what star systems the fagur are in and whether fagur can get to the planets the krong has a krong can make blackholes and doesnt have to worry about them at all

it also depends on how fast the krong player can produce U4 and how early...
