I really like the drag and drop menus like when you click on a planet and can move the new system map window about.

Just one small problem with it though.

If you click and drag it, and while holding it move your mouse off the edge of the screen, then let go of the mouse it gets stuck to the mouse and moves about without you holding the left button. Its almost like the mouse is bumping it and causeing it to move. Its a bit strange. Its only a small bug though, and if you click on it it solves it...

Well this is a problem with flash. If you "mouse up" off the flash area it doesn't always trigger the "mouse up" event. Thus this strange behavior. A simple click in flash area will "drop" System Map form/window. Anyway I'll study the case and will try to find a solution.

As for flash map here are some hints for it (maybe we should write small hints somewhere on map or above it)
- double click on map to center map on that point (i.e map will move such as clicked position will be in center of the screen)
- when in system map form/window double click on personal colony to bring up colony detailed screen.

Hmm, this doesnt seem to work. You mean the map that just shows stars? All that happens when I double click on this is it highlights the whole map white, like when you want to select to copy or something. Also I have no way to move around the galaxy, I only have 3 stars on the map, and no way to move to see others.

Yeah, that works. I found that yesterday after a single click didnt work. Bit strange using double click on the web though Is their any reason why a single click is not enough?

I guess thats because of IE security reasons. Put this site in trusted list and let me know if it works (Please use IE7 at least)

Well people tend to click anywhere so it was my moment idea when coding it. If people are more comfortable with single click we will change it.

I can't add the site to trusted sites because you dont have a https connection, it says it only allows this because it guarentees a secure connection...this is still in IE 6 so I will try in IE7 when I get it...

I prefer single click I think, it just seems more natural on the web, it makes it easier to learn also, people often will click it, see nothing happens and never try a double click...

We could place a hint somewhere. (in any case will change it to single click asap)

I can never get the main galaxy screen to load up, it takes forever.

K, does it do that for you too?

It does load, but takes a few seconds, so is quite slow. If you notice their is a spinning little circle thing in the top left corder showing that its loading, or their is for me anyway...
