1. it should be possible to create alliance intern mass mails, wich only the leader can send, would help a lot with coordinating and the like !!
2. a ressources pool wich can be accessed by all members, so they can trade resources or mercs can dump raided goods for their allies to use them.
3. (no allyfeature, but also useful) Trading should be part of the game, so u could have new trader section, where u can set up trades, saying e.g. 'need metal - give UC' or the like .. u could limit it, by using limitations like no higer trades the 1:50 or the like .. would give this game more depth

Alliance forum was created for this purposes. But an inter alliance mass messaging system could be done easely.

We thought about it and have to reject it, as it might generate multiaccounting.

We've tried several types of the market and this one is the most successful.

Lets see what people think about these suggestions.

I like 2/3 of the ideas, the mass messaging for alliance and the traders idea...the traders you have now would be good for general stuff but you cant determine the price you want or yoy want to pay

well the price should be variable and depends on how urgent u need the resource/UC and what ur willing to pay ... its like free market, overprized goods lay around.

In beta we had a similar market to what you've suggested. At a point market just stucked because some players had a lot of resources and others didnt have the money to buy them. This happened because money are not an essential resource of an empire and are not generated constantly (like in other games).

Current market model is quite good, imho. Yes its not as in real life, but still working and give you the posibility to buy sell goods whenever you want.

That reminds me, how come money isn't used for anything else? For example ammunition or fuel, just the minor thing for humans and mercs...

Actualy this idea was rejected a long time ago. We did it because, first, a spy in your alliance could ruin all your plans and second, your ally might become, suddenly your enemy

Well, first thing you need is a bot that logs IP addresses, to prevent multi-ing. The second thing is, I think we should have the "risk" of spies in our alliance - it adds to the game experience.

To counter against the spy and the fact that the ally might become an enemy, you should have several options. 1) The alliance leader has final say on who is allowed to view the Target Position and Mission and who is NOT allowed to view them. 2) If people want to view the target position/mission of another member of alliance, they must select an option that makes them permanently bound to one alliance (unless the leader expels them). 3) The person whose hordes/fleets/m-nodes are being made "open" should select an option granting permission for the target position and mission to be "open".. and anyways.. it's prety much obvious from the tactical screen where it's going to go.. and most often.. what it's going to do

spoken like a true alliance leader...all but the 'bound to one alliance' thing. just run the risk...its called 'espionage', if some one can convince an alliance member to disclose info then so be it...
