Ok, so it seems fleets will be next thing to be done.

I am planning to have 12 fleets with the following:

1 Battle Ship
3 Cruisers
5 Destroyers
10 Frigates

Also, maybe some corvetes will be added, but that will depend on the fleet.

Also, I plan to build 1 Titan ship also.

Yeah, I am building production buildings mostly...would have alot but they didnt have enough food, so didnt grow...

I have about 20 or so left, but am not putting much on science right now. I have all the weapons and everything I need, so have that on the minimum science output, and everything else on building

Oh and the Titan is done atm, time to build more ships.

I never built most of the things I have 5 with no people on it...Guess I may next time though...

I am on the 10 frigates for Taurus fleet. When they build that fleet will be complete.

Im still improving my home world at the moment.

Well, Taurus is done. I need to add a few more ships to Aries some time, but now I am on Gemini...I have the battle ship, so just some more to build overnight...

Righ, I am building most of my fleets now. I am up to the 8th (Scorpio) now. They are all being bult at different planets. By tomorrow most of them should be done.

I think that once these are done then I will just add more ships to them. Also, I may use titans as my flag ship in future. And have 3 battle ships, 5 cruisers, 10 destroyers.

Something like that. If this round is anything to go by then I should be able to get that sort of production going...its only been about 300 turns since I started building fleets for real, and by the looks of it the rounds may be 3000 turns each...virgo is at the moment, or thats what it says anyway...

What are the different formations?

There are 6 of them, but how do they differ?

Can you put like, Line, or Flanking or something on it instead?

They are just a place holder for now. When battles will be implemented I'll change to actual values.

I find the fleets menu frustratingly hard to use.

I can name a fleet and rename a fleet that the single ships come in, but i cant figure out how the hell im supposed to move ships or have fleets with more then one ship in them.

You have to click the double arrow in the left menu, then drag the name of the ship (in the part that opens up) to the right menu, and it should move fleets.

BTW, disrupter. We should do some more on our game soon, its been ages...

I agree, ill check back on it tomorrow and see, i gotta remember where we were and get back in the zone. I should have enough to buy the INDIE Torque package we need now

Is very difficult to use existing fleets management interface. It is very strange.

If i have 30-40 fleet now is impossible to use a drag&drop methods for fleets complectation

I propose next things

1. After build end of new ship automatically add them to existing fleet in system
2. Full Change interface of fleets management

2.1. Drop using of 2 part screen
2.2. Make Fleet list more informative, with moving the most principal information to main list
2.3. Add sorting and filtering for fleets list (by Name, by system, by action, by type (design), by power etc)
2.4. Add new popup window for fleet managemet in system
2.5. Add direct links (switch) to map, star system, battle history etc

3. Also needed some redesigh for route management window
3.1. Please Enlarge all buttons 200-300%
3.2. Increase size of window and text fonts to 10-12pt (minimum 8pt for help only)
3.3. Add "Enter" key support for system search

Actually I don't agree with you about its usability. I agree that some inconveniences do exists and some enhancements must be done.

Lets see what other players will say about it first.
