What formation is everyone using, and what range?
My fleet is short range and using swarm formation, so all ships will take damage equaly...will see how that works out 
Anyway, I am ready, I think maverick is ready, so disrupter, as soon as your fleets are ready and in position, set it to agressive and the battle should start

When will they arrive?
Anyway, our fleets look abotu even matched...
I have:
5 Corvettes
12 Frigates
10 Destroyers
447 Cruisers
12 Battle ships
40 Titans
I have no idea what way this will go...we will see...

Ok, you have 650 ships, I have 526...
You outnumber me by 124...
Now, titans we are almost even in, and if you have 203 cruisers, then that gives me 244 more cruisers, to fight your battleships and frigates and destroyers...
I dont think the firgates are much a problem, and the destroyers not too bad either, but the battleships will be probably.
I am out numbered, but have the plasma cannons making up probably 90% of my weapons, so...I think that gives me about equal fire power...
I dont know, it could be close...
BTW what formation and range are you using? I went for the swarm one, to be unpredictable, and also to help protect my cruisers from taking too much damage early on

Flanking Point and Far. Use the small ships as fodder to eat up your shots to leave the big ones to pound the crap out of you
I think your titans and cruisers will probably actually win. I dont know why, but i do. My titans are actually stronger then yours (deal more damage slightly) but i think my weaker ships will get torn to pieces before they can crush enough of your cruisers. I hope my numbers can off balance the sheer power in the number of cruisers you have. I have a feeling i might lose though.

I dont know, it is hard to tell who will win...anyway, how far away are they?

Ok, thats about 10PM here then, I should get to see 8 turns or so of the battle tonight then
Not sure how long it will last, but I am guessing it will go on a while, at least 10 turns, probably a lot more...

Depends on how evenly matched we are. The match i did with maverick, matching him ship per ship, lasted like 40-45 turns. Other shorter ones lasted 20 turns. Itll probably drag on for a while.

Ok, that first round went kind of well, 31 ships of mine lost to 211 of yours. I guess thats your frigates gone then...31 cruisers lost here...
So far so good though, my fleets holding strong.
Round 2: Still going good, but getting closer now. 31 more of my cruisers lost, but I destroyed 74 destroyers. Still, getting harder now.
Still got your cruisers, battle ships and titans to go, thats going to be hard I think. Still, will see what happens next turn...
Round 3: Ok, I am holding out as I need to, I am doing ok with your cruisers, lost 29 cruisers 1 battleship, and destroyed 21 destroyers and 50 cruisers of yours, but I needed to do well here, to stand a chance with the battleships...
Its getting close now, I still have 356 cruisers, but still a long way to go...
Round 4: Hmm, a little too close for comfort now. I lost 26 cruisers and 1 titan, and destroyed 54 of your cruisers. I dont know, its close. And your battle ships are comming up soon, I dont know I'm a little worried now, not doing as much damage as I would have liked...
Round 5: Lost 24 cruisers and 1 titan and destroyed 50 of your cruisers...its close now. Should destroy your cruisers this round, then I'm onto the battleships...
Round 6: Ok, that round seemed ok. Lost 19 cruisers and 1 battle ship and destroyed 48 of your cruisers. Not bad. Time for a recount of ships now I think:
I have:
5 Corvettes (0 lost so far)
12 Frigates (0 lost so far)
10 Destroyers (0 lost so far)
287 Cruisers (160 lost so far)
10 Battle ships (2 lost so far)
38 Titans (2 lost so far)
You have:
0 frigates (192 lost)
0 destroyers (119 lost)
1 cruiser (202 lost so far)
102 battleships (0 lost so far)
34 titans (0 lost so far)
Round 7: What?!?!? I just lost 19 cruisers and destroyed 1 cruiser and 33 battleships. Thats just turned the battle hugely in my favour. I think its back to where I have more ships now, with better weapons and just slaughter everything...we will see though...
Round 8 and 9: Ok, just mopping up the few remainders now, looks like its almost over. It was the battleships that fell way too easy, I thought I would loose more against them...few of them left and the titans togo...

Ok, thats it then. Its over. Well, for a while it looked close, but then suddenly it just changed in my favour alot. I think I overestimated your battleships and I expected to loose alot to them, but never did. Also all the others fell way too easy.
I think it was the plasma cannons that were my biggest advantage, all through I did twice or mor damage than your fleets, and I think thats why.
Anyway, this shows that its not so much numbers that matter, but weapons. And I think the plasmas have been the biggest advantage I have had all along. That should change now though, when the new values are added.
Anyway, I guess thats it. Time to delete all our ships Maverick
BTW, the battles are much more interesting in this game, because they last so long. Its really fun waiting for the turn to tick to see how you did. Like being in mission control as all the information comes in about each stage of the battle

New values set. Before making new designs, please take a look on values and lets discuss them. If everything is ok then we'll start testing.

Wow, you should all be great full that i didnt care about that fleet losing, its actually better for me that i lost, since i dont have to deal with ANY old ships now.
Im pretty sure that, had that been an actual important fight, i would stop playing or something.
BTW, can someone post the URL to DQ:H, im on a different computer today and cant remember how it goes since i relayed on bookmarks.
PS: I told you you'd win K, how many ships do you have left?
