Well i dont think thats going to be the case.

If DQ:H's battle systems are similar to DQ:'s then numbers wont necessarily matter, the armor and shield ratings will, which i can bet mine are better then yours.

Your ships may have more fire power but a slight major, but mine can take what yours deal out.

At least in theory


Well, a titan with best shield and armour has 4200 HP, so...I could easily destroy 3 or so with my fleet...at a lower cost I think...

The HP of my whole Taurus fleet is: 16920HP...so alot more

The HP of my whole Gemini fleet is 23440...even more

Anyway, we will have to see how they fair in battle. this is all just theory

Anyway, their will be maintenance costs also, and I imagine that while bigger ships cost more to maintain that small ships, they are cheaper for their ammount of power...like cap ships are cheaper to maintain than 1000 fighters in dq:e...but cost more to build than 1000 fighters.


Anyway, counts so far: 957 points and 34557 dammage (both excluding uncounted ships)

Ok, I have everything counted except the Aries fleet now. So far I have 1264 points and a total attack power of 54009

Lots more building also...

I have 59960 Total Defense power across 29 ships with 33600 more to be added by sunday or monday.

I dont think my points have moved much.

My total attack strength for the 29 ships is 29811 and will be up by 39272 by sunday or monday.

I havent been doing much ship building the last day or 2, but will start again now.

Anyway, not including whats just built overnight I have 81767 attack, and 1729 points..

EDIT: Ok, total to date: 117340 attack and 2023 points...

Ok my total score is up to 2955 ship points wise.

My attack power is 93560 and should go up by around 60,000 soon.

Ill also be getting 1080 more points too

So far: 149968 dammage and 2791 points. I have just had a major organise of all my fleets and planets, so my output should really be boosted now. I am trying to extend my 10 fleets to 1 battle ship, 5 cruisers, 10 destroyers and 10 frigates. Before I build my last 2 fleets. Also, I have just been building loads of non fleet cruisers, and have 19 built so far...

All of my 22 planets are either on production or still building themselves, and should all be on producton soon. Should have 25 planets tomorrow also. Think thats enough for now.

Anyway, only about 250 turns left to go...

I still have my 8 or so.

Whatever, i dont have the time to devote to the game like you do, ive been busy all weekend with things. I couldnt even place that last order.

I guess obsession helps you win these kinda things.

Yeah, I am going to be a bit more busy this week, didn't have much to do last week so had loads of time to play

Anyway, I am just filling up the queue with random ships now, seeing how many it will build...I think the smaller ships seem to be better for power for resources spent on them, but you can only build 11 at a time anyway, so maybe things like battleships or cruisers are better...not sure...

Maybe when maintenance comes in it will even them out more.

Ive kinda lost interest in this for now, since theres no real point to doing anything else.

Without battles or a point system, there isnt any way to determine a winner (officially).

Since theres no winning or losing, or at least no fighting, ive kinda lost interest.

Theres only one more thing i wanna test on one of my planets though.

Well... this is the world of testing It not so interesting as playing, but someone has to do it anyway.

I'm almost done with fleets management. I think tomorrow it'll be ready.

Well, all that should come soon. And really the whole point in playing for now is to find bugs and test out the mechanics of the game, more than actualy playing for real.

We need to build as many ships as possible so that Maverick can see how the economy of the game is working, if we build way too many or way to few than expected, then things can be changed as nessasary...but I just thought that while we are building them we can make some sort of competition of it

Anyway, its only something to do while passing the time, and it gives some record to try and beat.

Whats that? I haven't built several of the buildings, I may try that now to see what they do, mostly defences I havent built, and some scienec buildings...

I may or may not have forgotten a research, so now i have to go do that. Itll take a while for me to do now, all my science is to industry.

I havent finished all the science yet, only make 5 points per turn, so its taking ages to research everything...still got 12 left. I may just add some people to it and finish before the end if I can.

Also, maybe it would be good if something happened once you finish the science, like maybe a few secret techs are unlocked, like the ability to make black holes and wormholes, and these can take like 10000 science points each to have...

Also, maybe something like EMP for 500 or so...

If only i had my U4s lol. Thatd be pretty sweet.

OR like a planetary gun, something i could hit you with for crazy damage but itd take like 50,000+ science points.

Thatd be cool though, to have one Ultima weapon

Yeah, we need ultimate weapons, expecialy player created BH and WH, although BH should be much more expencive, and really hard to unlock, so you dont just have the whole galaxy destroyed like in DQ:E some times. They should be a really powerful, really expencive last resort, not a basic weapon like for krongs...But I think chain reactions should be easier, because these are most fun, and it would add some strategy to the BH placement, so you can make an ultimate chain reaction

I think they should only be possible after the science tree is complete, this gives reason to reseach the techs you dont need, and also gives a use for science points after you have completed them...

EDIT: Also, BH should be unpredictable, they should 'move' on their own some times, for no real reason. It shouldnt be big, but just maybe have a chance of 1/500 each turn, where the BH just moves 1 light year in one direction, this gives it a chance to start a new chain reaction, and makes having planets near a BH dangerous, as it may move and get you
