Why you do not indicate the attacker?
I think that you must show the attacker (war, war, war!!!), or you must show the direction or a region in the galaxy (like a square with 6 X 6 sectors) from the source of the e-storm.

This is very interesting question and I want to read other opinions.
From the one side of view, this is normal, when You do not know the attacker, because this is not "matherial" attack, just a power flux of energy. But from the other point of view, it is necessary to know at least direction - to guess the attacker.
I`ll think about implementation - in any case storm reports are planned, so it will be done at least during third beta.

Another idea: Between source and destination of the e-storm will have some (or many) star systems (I don't know how many stars will have the RC1), then I think that these systems in the way of the e-storm must be affected (own, neutral, ally, enemy systems). The storm will be a powerfull weapon. This is to difficult a little ...
