Yeah, that would be good also. But how exactly will freighters work? Do they have like a set path that they travel back and forwards over between places, sharing stuff as they do? Or just having them lets you share resources?

Plans so far (could be changed though.... )

1. Fleets management (renaming, joining, dividing, etc.)
2. Freighters. Freighters are common for entire empire, you don't command them like fleets, you just have them. When needed they will be taken and used.
3. Restarting galaxy (with balanced planets, research times, buildings bonuses, population growth, etc)
4. Battle system

Then we'll see

Ok, sounds good. But if reset is first then we wont have battles this round? So no need to build ships yet then?

I dont really understand the fleets menu. How do you form fleets? I tried creating a new fleet, and it renamed the ship, and not created a new fleet...

It seems that each ship is being called a fleet, and you cant join several ships to make a fleet...

I knew I had to put some tips there

A ship cannot be out of a fleet. SO, when a ship is built a new fleet is created with this 1 ship. This fleets (with one ships you see in left column).
Now pressing on big double arrow will open fleet info. There you will see what ship and their models compose this fleet. On the right side a list of fleets that are near will appear.
If you want to move ships from left fleet to one from the right list just drag that ship (model) name and drop it over destination fleet. A pop up with desired quantity will appear. Insert your value and press transfer.

Something like that.

If you want to create new fleet. First select a fleet where do you want this fleet located. Then insert a name and press create.
Then you can transfer ships to newly created fleet.

Ok, I think I get it now

But when I move ships I am left with many empty fleets still existing...how can you delete these empty fleets? Shouldnt they be deleted automaticaly?

Also, as with ship names, you can't use spaces. Will this be added in future?

Also, it takes a long time to make a fleet. Is it possible in the right menu to have a check box by each fleet, that you can select all fleets you want to merge, then enter a name and click 'create' and all these ships get added to a new fleet, with given name?

This would be quicker than draging each ship 1 at a time to the fleet.

If no ships are selected then create the empty fleet it makes now...

They will be deleted next turn.

You have this function already. I have fleets with spaces in their names.

This is long because you have lots of solo ships now. If you had this functionality from the beginning ti wouldn't be so time consuming. We'll find a way for new ships to join a local fleet or create new one, but this is already an enhancement.

BTW Could you please write a short hint for fleets page so people would get some directions and wouldn't guess much?

Oh, ok. Is it possible to make it so they are deleted instantly? Because it gets confusing

Yeah, it works . I tried this before and I am sure it said I had invalid characters, and I only used letters and spaces...oh well, maybe I accidentaly pressed something else

Ok, I think new ships should be added to new fleet as they build, because for example if you have 2 fleets how does the game know what fleet to add the new ships to? It may get the wrong one and that would be annoying.

If the check box thing could be added for merging fleets it would be good.

Ok, maybe:

To create a new fleet, select an existing fleet that is in the location where you want the new fleet to be created, then in the right column enter a name and click 'Create'. A new empty fleet will be created.

To move ships between fleets, select from the left menu the fleet that contains the ships you want to move, then drag these ships over to the destination fleet in the right menu. Then Confirm how many ships you wish to move.

Note: All ships must belong to a fleet, even if they are the only ship in the fleet.

EDIT:

Also, its not possible to move fleets far down the page, because the righ menu is placed back at the top, so its not possible to drag them over the fleet you want. Could the right menu be made to float down the page so that it is always visible?

I was thinking about something laconic. Your description is suitable for help, not for a tip .

Maybe:

above fleets: Click a fleet to manage it.
above new fleet form: New fleet will be created in same system currently managed fleet is in.
above right fleets: Drag ship name from currently managed fleet and drop it on fleets below for ship transfer.

What I need is that my "ideas" sounds good in English.

Well, think we should paging and or filtering then. Its a common problem with dragging.

A delete option for empty fleets is for enhancements. (have to note them somewhere, or I'll forget about them.... )
