I found this game tonight. Registered and am addicted already. Wow love it. I have a number of fairly basic questions that would be awesome if someone could answer. Thank you. ((yes these are extremely basic))

1. What is the difference between DQ Empires and Horizons? I seem to be playing Horizons which if I am correct is what I want to be doing.

2. I believe I have read all the forums. There is a fair amount of conversation regarding researching technology, credits, designing ships...(titans and many other things) My question here is...I am playing the Fagur. I am enjoying it them immensely. Are the Fagur just not a race that has tech? money? ability to design ships and all that other jazz? If so..does that mean as the Fagur..I have basically one fighting unit and that is the Anizak? That seemss...a tad bit boring if thats all I get. If there are other things there I have seen or read about them yet.

3. I believe I have read most if not all the forums. There is barely any mention of the Fagur. In fact I do not think I read even one thing from anyone playing the Fagur.

This is extracted from one thread as an example of what I presume are a human player: ** It was planed as planetary cannon that fires first when a fleet is attacking. It is good against big ships. So it will try to fire at biggest ships first then at smaller ones, but with less precision. The exact damage I'll estimate after you build your fleets. I would like to see those numbers first

Anyway a stellar converter should inflict a lot of damage. About 1 titan in 1-2 battle rounds.**

Crazy I know..but that sounds pretty cool..Is there more to the Fagur then I am seeing? Why is there no conversation about the Fagur and how to play them?

4. Lastly for now, there must be some sort of guide that is written by someone regarding playing this game that is a bit more involved then what comes with the game already? If there is not. I would appreciate being in contact with someone experienced here to bounce questions off of. I love this game so far. Want to get good at it and cause everyone plenty of problems in space. If you have a guide of sorts or are up for exchanging information with me please let me know.

DQ:E is an older game, the first DQ game made several years ago, DQ:H is a new game just been made, and so most people are playing horizons now, DQ:E is still available if people want to play though.

I think you have read threads from both DQ:E and DQ:H. DQ:E has fagur, while designing ships is in DQ:H. Research and money are in both, but work very differently, so it depend on what game your playing. The best place for information is in the guides for each game, these are at:

DQ:E Guide - http://www.dqempires.com/guide/guide.html
DQ:H Guide - http://www.dqhorizons.com/help/index.html

If you are playing fagur, then your playing DQ:E. Fagur is a biological race, so has no technology as such, instead it has 'organs' and creatures, these are in a way its buildings and ships. You need to grow more creatures if you want extras, see the DQ:E guide for details of that

Did you read the other forums? If your just reading the DQ:H forum, and this is that, then its because fagur is in DQ:E, basicaly these forums are separated into 2, one for DQ:E, and one for DQ:H, at least untill DQ:H has its own forums system I guess.
