This star is about half way between our colonies, so its a good place for the first real battle.
I will send a large fleet their, and wait for you to send yours. This way when the battle system is ready we can test it.
Its a big orange star BTW.

Sounds good.
String drives almost ready, i can now research any research in 1 turn

I am sending just 5 ships for now, because I dont want to weaken my home defences too much. I will build more and send them soon.

I am kind of lacking in the ship department, bare with me. I still gotta research up some things, i only have lasers at the moment.

Hmm, not bad I guess...for a battle ship...although they say 13 is bad luck
But if they are the fastest drives, thats not really that high...we need wormholes
Oh, wait. Thats quite fast actualy, I get 5 on battle ships with ion drives...

Its still just under twice as fast as corvettes with nuclear drives.
And i think our ships are still far away from each other.

I am prepairing a whole new set of classes for my ships.
Sunbeam type use photon weapons
SolarFlare type will use plasma weapons.
BlackHole type use antimatter weapons.
Wormhole type use warp weapons.
I will have ship sizes of all types in these main classes, like Sunbeam Destroyers, SolarFlare Destroyers, SolarFlare battleship etc...

Ill probably do something like:
Gun for Lasers
Photon for photons
Melter for plasma
Anti cruiser (etc) for antimatter
Warp for Warp weapons.
Im not too creative, but i remember what my ships do.

Heh, and I will have 12 fleets in all, named:
Aries
Taurus
Gemini
Cancer
Leo
Virgo
Libra
Scorpio
Sagittarius
Capricorn
Aquarius
Pisces
All after the 12 star signs The flag ships will have the same name, and be the only Titan ships.

Dunno about names.
By the way titans are 12150 or so empty.

Yeah, I expected them to be expencive.
I am not sure if I will have them as flag ships, maybe just battle ships could be the flag ships. Titans can be like elite ships that are separate from my main fleet. They will be used in major attacks along with several of the other fleets.
