This was an idea said by Dexteria by private message, while we were planning attacks, but I will post it here.
Could it be possible to add notes and markers to the galaxy map?
One way could be a push pin option, where if held, and clicked on map, it enters a marker at that point, and you can add a short note to it.
Then, when hovered over, the note will display. Notes/markers can be changed/deleted by clicking on a push pin (will ask you to confirm).
It will be useful for individual players, but for alliances to plan attacks it would help alot.

Geat idea. This could be a new service Adding it to missing features.
