Quote It seems to me that it makes no sense at all to build U3.
... skipped....
What am i missing here?

You forgot about E-Storm This is _real_ pain for Mercenary base and Fagur Eggs and Hordes.
You can do up to 500M damage using 1-10K U3 from distance up to 100 quadrants (of course, it will cost You a LOT of energy).

Why can't some stars be collapsed?? Which class stars are these?.. The guide says all stars can be collapsed.

This limitation come from game balance. Only the stars O, B, A, F can be collapsed. Thus, Fagur, for example, have chances to survive

one proposal, if i had read it write from the help the e-storm efect on one quadrant!
How i supost to find the merc.
Is there any possibility to waste more energy but hit more quadrants, otherwise it's not have sense to me!
I can not find merc., i can attack only fagurs egs, for what to use e-storm!
Much better to use U4 and collaps stars!

Quote [q] How can I "colonize" more than 100 planets?
|
|
You must fill occuped planets surface for 95% - after it You can land on other, 101 planet.[q]
that means that you have to fill all occuped planets surface at least 95% or more, to land on more than 100 planets. Correctly me if i'm wrong cause i can't seem to understand it.

| Yes you are right. Just letting you know that in new rounds the limit will be 60 planets.

| 1 U4 for 1 star. Not all stars can be directly collapsed - see guide.

I don't really understand how much energy can be "sucked out" of each type of star per turn. Is there a chart anywhere how much energy per turn one CEC produce orbiting each star type? Oh, and once CEC is landed, it use only crystals, and ignor present star? So if I land CEC it doesn't matter what kind of star that system has, it will produce same energy, right?

CEC can produce energy by:
1) "Eating" crystals - each CEC can take 1 crystal and make output 3.2 energy units, max crystals per CEC per turn is 15
2) Orbiting star (node must be in space and in idle state) - this is more complicated case:
produced_en=10*(ssized/sclassd)*0.85;
where ssized - star size, 1..4
sclassd - star Class O=1, ... M=7
Ofcource, this is the values from the current balance, they can be changed in the future.
Quote So if I land CEC it doesn't matter what kind of star that system has, it will produce same energy, right?

Right - in this case production depend only from amount of crystals in Core.

Thanks.
So, if I have suficient crystals, 15 for 1 CEC, it will produce 15*3.2=48 energy per turn, right?
And if one CEC is orbiting best star, O super giant, it would produce 10*(4/1)*0.85=34
So either I made a mistake somewhere here, or in any case landed CEC produce more energy. So what is the point in keeping them in orbit?

No, all right
Here is the answer on question "Why I must conquer planets and defend them?".
By the other words, You have choise: You can find rich planet, land and extract resources from it. But You must defend it. And other choise: You can orbit star... and defend it, but You can put 1M CEC on star`s orbit - and I let You calculate how much planets You must own to land 1M CEC

So when you want a CEM to orbit a star does that mean it has to be in the exact coords of the star or does it need to be around the star not actually in the system?

No, orbiting star mean exact system coordonates

Can you explain how stars can be collapsed indirectly? and what's a chain reaction?
