Is it possible to allow a few more symbols in names? Things such as double and single quotes, brackets, -, +, etc.
These are always useful.
Also, is it possible to rename a ship design once made, not delete it, just change the name (and all existing ships of that design)?

Sure, but I don't wat to give a lot of possibilities. Lets say that -, +, [, ] could be added. Any other symbols inn mind?

yes this is possible. Will put it in suggestions to implement it when I'll have some free time.

Currency symbols, so euro(dont have it on my keyboard) £,$ etc. Useful at times, I know some mercs in DQ:E used $ in place of S in names...
( ) is useful, like alliance abriviations etc.
: - + ~ * # ! ? can be useful
also...maybe / and \ also, for naming ships by number, such as 'Cruiser 4/5' etc.
