Yes, it was written in SQL - near 95% of all code is in stored procedures and triggers. CGI scripts acts as filters and "draw drivers" - they filter user input and provide HTML output. SQL server used in the game - Firebird v 1.5 (yes, I know, 2.1 just released, but I prefer to play with FB 2.5  )
Current status of the game - frozen, I think. I restart TG and other galaxies time to time (today will reset TG), but I have no idea about game future - we have no time to extend it (even we can not due to restrictions with game development sponsor) 
Possible we will release sources to community, but I think it has no sense at all - 2+ MB of C/C++ sourcers, over 1Mb PSQL texts.

By 'release sources to community' do you mean like make it open source or something? So anyone can help work on it?...I dont know how that would work, but it could be a good idea. I think their will be people who would be interested to help, and it would probably get some more players...expecialy if their was something happening.
Anyway, I have some more time now, so I will try and be more active in the galaxys...try and get some more happening so more players stay. I also started voting at top web games again...maybe it will help get a few more players...
Anyway. Trio is almost over again, and I hope to do something next round. Could we have Virgo next? Havent had that galaxy in ages. Its also small so may be good for so few players...

I was thinking about the wiki that used to be here, and becuase that one is gone I thought we could create another wiki.
Anyway, if not here it could be possible to use a wiki farm to host it. www.wikidot.com is a good one. I use it for a few wikis.
Its a good site and you even get a forum where users can discuss the wiki etc.
If we had more happening then players will probably get more involved and stay. Also you can use google to have adverts on the pages, and make money from this. Any money made could then be used for advertising DQ:E
Anyway, what do you think?

What about money - we not need money for advertising - walk over forum, you can find explanation with current game status and why we can not continue active development on it.

I do have more time now also, cos the intense school time is over, I only have one day to go to school during summer right now
After this summer i am graduated and i am probably finding jobs as DBA or BA

Green said they use Firebird v 1.5 I think, not Oracle. Check the link on the main page, also the posts a short way back.
