I think if a planet is making spare food that is then taken to other planets by freighters, it still seems to make the full income of that spare food.
I have 25 spare food on one planet, and this is mostly all being used on other planets, but I am still making 6 income on this planet each turn (has no spare maintenance or income buildings).

This is a side effect of the system. Income is calculated per planet when food usage per empire, so we'll leave it as is, as least for now

Ok, thats ok I guess, just you may make a little more income than you should, but only a small amount...
